Judi Nelson, PTPhysical Therapist, Mysofascial therapist, Pilates & Zumba Instructor
Judi Nelson is a licensed physical therapist, nationally recognized myofascial therapist, pilates instructor and Zumba instructor with 20 years experience helping people feel good in their bodies. Since graduating from Marquette University Physical Therapy school in 1994, Judi has taken the solid foundation in anatomy and physiology she gained there and integrated the holistic philosophies and practices of Myofascial Release and Pilates to help individuals and groups truly come into their bodies and enjoy living there. Judi’s deep compassion and connection to source allow clients to clear physical and emotional restrictions that are impeding the flow of life force within them, and find joy, ease and wholeness in body, mind and spirit. Myofascial release sessions with Judi can be a purely physical, structural experience, helping with specific physical problems. They also can be deeper, emotional experiences that help release long held traumas. You can make you session whatever you need it to be. Sometimes you will find something you didn’t even know you needed, if you allow yourself to be open to the experience. Judi has in-depth, specialized knowledge of women’s reproductive issues. If you are needing help with healing from birthing trauma, caesarean section, hysterectomy, or if you are dealing with pelvic pain, bladder control issues, organ prolapse or infertility issues, we can tailor your session around those concerns. Take this opportunity to care for these issues in a safe, supported environment. You will be glad you did! Retreat Offerings:
Our bodies are amazingly adaptable and we can get by for a time just unconsciously moving away from the restrictions, but eventually we run out of the ability to adapt. There is no more “give” in the system. That is when we feel pain and restriction of movement. Myofascial Release works with the connective tissue, or fascia, in your body to unravel that complex history of adaptation, peeling away the layers of built up restriction, to bring balance to the physical structure. As your body is allowed to fall into a more balanced posture, and resistance is let go, your essence can fully inhabit your body, flowing into every nook and cranny of your being, creating a fully integrated self. |
Christopher BoaCertified Kundalini Yoga Instructor
Christopher Boa has been practicing and studying Kundalini Yoga for 12 years finishing his teacher's training course in India in 2006. He is passionate about Pranayam and Kriya Yoga bringing a strong yet subtle experience to his students. Kriyas are complete sets of exercises that are performed in the sequences given by the Master, Yogi Bhajan. They can be simple short sequences or they may involve vigorous, even strenuous exercises, and strong breath techniques such as Breath of Fire, which challenge and strengthen the nervous and endocrine systems and test the will of the practitioner beyond the limitations of their ego.
The Mantra yoga that Christopher teached helps connect practitioners to the Naad. Naadi's are our connection point to the universe. Like strings of a violin, we activate these "strings' with our vocal chords through repetetive words, phrases and even songs, Bringing immediate manifestation the reverberates into infinite. These Mantras, many in Gurmuhki, the spoken variation on sanskrit, can provide healing, meditation, focus, and reduce anxiety while strengthening the nervous system.
they are an important component to a balanced spiritual practice. Christopher Boa incorporates his practice into his musical training as a professional saxophonist, Producer, and DJ and in addition to Kundalini also practices Qi gong, Tai Chi, and is a certified sound healer. |
